The Inn at City Hall offers an affordable place to live for individuals who need daily assistance but are not yet ready to give up their independence.
The historic Augusta City Hall, located on the banks of the Kennebec River, has been restored and renovated into 31 assisted-living apartments with its unique features preserved throughout the building.
The Inn at City Hall is staffed and managed by MaineGeneral Rehabilitation and Long-Term Care. Our around-the-clock staff checks with each resident regularly to ensure they receive the services they need. Our program includes a customized service package to help you maintain an independent lifestyle. Services cover many areas including social and recreational activities, home making, medical assistance, a meals program and more.

Services
- Services provided by Maine General
- Two nutritious meals available daily, seven days a week, prepared on-site and served in our dining room.
- Basic housekeeping service provided within individual units that consists of vacuuming, dusting, emptying trash, and cleaning the bathroom.
- Personal laundry
- Assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs).
- Accommodation of unscheduled assistance needs and preferences of residents.
- Home health services.
- Medication assistance and, as allowed under the current regulatory environment, medication administration.
- Twenty-four-hour awake staff.
- Access to health monitoring and promotion.
- A variety of social, educational and recreational activities are available/coordinated for residents. Activities are scheduled seven days a week.
- Activities include: Card games, wii games, exercise, book club, fields trips, bean bag toss, gardening and many more.
- Weekly transportation for grocery shopping.
